1. Orchestra Director, National Orchestra of Wales
Based at the famous orchestra’s home in the Wales Millennium Centre, you'll need to have an "in depth understanding of music". And no, aceing Ken Bruce's PopMaster on BBC Radio 2 doesn't count. As well as knowing everything from Beethoven to Bryn Terfel, you will have to have a good knowledge of orchestral repertoire, as well as conductors and soloists.
And if that wasn't enough - you'll also need excellent business skills among other requirements to lead the the UK’s foremost soundtrack orchestra - which has provided the soundtracks for Doctor Who, Casualty and David Attenborough’s Life Story among others.

2. Outward Bound Trust instructor and senior instructor
This is a dream job for outdoor adventure types. You’ll work in some of Wales’ most stunning locations; mountains, sea and rivers, introducing young people hem to the great outdoors.
The Outward Bound Trust is looking for instructors to work from its base in Aberdyfi, Gwynedd.
Appropriate qualifications and skills are essential.
You’ll be paid between £19,584 and £31,946 - depending on qualifications and experience - and the positions are subject to an enhanced Disclosure Check through the Disclosure & Barring Service.

3. Trainee Leakage Engineer – South Wales
No one likes a water leak and this is your chance to be the heroine or hero fixing it.
You’ll need to enjoy working outdoors in all weathers for this one and be willing to do some night work.
RPS group is looking for trainee leakage engineers to join its team in South Wales, working on a Dwr Cymru Welsh Water contract in Carmarthen and Swansea.
The role involves detection, location and reporting of visible and hidden leaks from Dwr Cymru Welsh Water’s water distribution network.
You’ll be trained to use traditional and electronic leak detection equipment.

4. Mascot at Folly Farm
Folly Farm is looking for bubbly people full of fun and energy to join its costume character team and give visitors a memorable day out.
A typical day as a mascot assistant includes playing the role of various characters, engaging with guests of all ages around the park, meet and greet sessions and photo opportunities.
You may also be required to do face painting and help out in the fairground too.
As well as needing to be 18 or above previous work in performance or entertainment is also preferred, although not essential.
Prepare yourself though, there’ll be an audition as part of the interview.

5 Technical architect
If you're handy with IT and fancy earning £700 to £745 a day, then a job as a technical architect might be up your street.
Circle Recruitment is looking for someone with a background in architecture delivering cloud computing services.
The advertised post is for a "Government client" in Swansea and is a temporary contract with an initial six months.

6 National Trust guide and welcome assistant
Guide people down Wales’s own gold mines and into an iconic 18th-century landscape.
The National Trust is looking for full time membership and visitor welcome assistants at Dolaucothi Gold Mines and Dinefwr Park in Carmarthenshire. You’ll earn £8.72 an hour in these full time posts.

7 WRU School Rugby Development Officer
Fancy spending your day immersed in rugby?
A vacancy has come up for a WRU School Rugby Development Officer at Bassaleg School in Newport,
The school and the WRU want an exceptional candidate to develop and manage all forms of rugby in accordance with its school rugby development plan.
The fixed term, two year contract, starts in September and includes increasing participation in rugby (Union and Touch) amongst all pupils, promoting girls’ rugby and setting up teams.
You’ll also be the link between the WRU, the school, its primary school partners and local rugby clubs - Whiteheads RFC, Rogerstone RFC, Risca RFC and Machen RFC. You’'ll ave to be quick though, because the closing date for applications is June 19.

8 FAW referee recruitment and retention officer
They can come in for a bit of stick, but games would turn into chaos without a ref.
The Football Association of Wales is on the lookout for someone to to recruit and retain referees.
Bosses say the ideal candidate would enhance the profile of referees at all levels as well as help develop coaching material for referees.
You’ll need to be a qualified referee with experience of refereeing at the highest level in Wales and have in depth knowledge of the laws of the game.

10 Head of complaints standards
The Public Services Ombudsman for Wales investigates complaints from members of the public about unfair treatment or poor service from devolved public bodies in Wales.
It is looking for a head of complaints standards for its new service – the Complaints Standards Authority for Wales. The job comes with a salary of between £42,684 and £46,746. The Closing date to apply is midday on 24 June 2019.
