10 Instagrammers that capture North East wildlife on camera

The North East is a great place to see wildlife in their natural habitat.

The region is home to foxes, puffins, deer, otters and many more - you just have to know where to spot them.

Luckily these Instagrammers have been fortunate enough to capture theses creatures on camera for us all to see.

Here are ten incredible photos of North East animals in the wild.

This photo captures the moment a red fox climbed onto the top of Tynemouth Priory.

Andrew photographs an array of animals in the wild, from frogs to finches.

2. mickyb_photograph

Newcastle based photographer Micky shares many photos of the North East on his Instagram page. In between landscape snaps are captures of birds, like the swan pictured above.

This Instagram feed of 'wildlife walks' displays photos of wildlife like you've never seem them before. These include; a puffin in flight and a squirrel ready to pounce.

The photograph of the deer shows just how skilled you have to be to capture animals in the wild without them running away.

Pinkbow photography is an award winning photographer. The seal photo was taken on the Farne Islands.

David Young is a very talented nature photographer and his Instagram showcases some of his best work.

Puffins are a regular occurrence on his feed.

Durham Wildlife Trust is committed to 'protecting wildlife and promoting nature conservation from Tees to Tyne'.

Their Instagram page is full of the best wildlife out region has to offer.

This Instagrammer shares nature, wildlife and travel photos on her page. These include pictures of owls, squirrels and frogs.

8. Hannahgillottphotography

Hannah Gillot's wildlife photography has been featured on our Instagram account with this photo of a red squirrel.

Her feed is vibrant with various species of animals. It is one you don't want to miss!

9. peteswan

Pete Swan is a macro photographer and share incredible close ups of insects and bugs.

The photo above is of a shield bug in Durham.

10. nature.north.east

Puffins are probably one of the most photographed animals in the North East and the Farne Island is a perfect place to get close to them.

But nevertheless we love seeing pictures of these colourful creatures on our Instagram feed.
