Ten holidaymakers have tested positive for Covid-19 on the Spanish holiday island of Majorca and will need to self-isolate in their hotel rooms for 14 days.
The hotel is reported to be in Peguera, 10-minutes from Magaluf.
The nationalities of the tourists has not been revealed, reports The Mirror.
According to The Mirror the tourists are the first to test positive for coronavirus while on the island.
Last weekend the UK Government suddenly imposed quarantine procedures on Spain and its islands, meaning anyone returning to the UK from a holiday in Spain will need to quarantine for 14 days.
The rules include the Canaries and Balearic Islands.
The Spanish Government has insisted the UK has got the data wrong and there is no danger in tourists visiting their country or islands.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has advised against all non-essential travel to Spain.
That means anyone ignoring the rules is likely to find their travel insurance invalidated.
Jet2 has cancelled its flights to Spain, alongside other travel companies, and is evacuating holidaymakers who are currently in country.
