Kitchen makeovers are the latest DIY trend sweeping the nation.

When lockdown was forced upon us mums decided to use their time wisely and revamp their homes and gardens.

And among the most popular make-over project was kitchen refurbishments.

Hundreds of people took their drab old 80s kitchens to task and created bright and breezy rooms fit for Mrs Hinch.

Armed with just a tin of frenchic paint and a roll of Fablon, mums and dads across the country have transformed dingy mahogany units in to Hinch-tastic, Instagramable spaces.

We have picked some of the best that were shared to social media over the summer to give you some kitchen inspo - and all cost less than £100.

1. This homeowner took inspiration from 1970s America for her funky  kitchen giving it a Palm Springs look.
