1-year-old boy missing from East Chicago may be in danger: police

East Chicago, Indiana, police are searching for a missing 1-year-old boy they believe may be in danger.

Kannon Ellis was last seen about 12:15 p.m. Sunday and is believed to be with his mother, 17-year-old Caneesha Ellis, and Jennifer Teniente, also 17, East Chicago police said.

Kannon Ellis is a 2-foot-3, 18-pound boy with black hair and brown eyes, police said. He was last seen wearing a red Champion hoodie and jeans.

Caneesha Ellis and Jennifer Teniente are both 5-foot-3 and 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, police said.

Teniente’s relationship to Kannon and Caneesha Ellis was not immediately clear.

Police believe Kannon Ellis may be in danger.
