A gunman fired shots from a silver-colored vehicle about 5 a.m. in the 800 block of West 75th Street, Chicago police said.

A 28-year-old man was shot in his head inside a vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Another man, 31, was shot in his arm and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, police said. Hours later, police said he died from his wounds.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office hasn’t released details on the fatalities.
