1 in custody after man critically stabbed in Gresham

A person is in custody after a 28-year-old man was stabbed during a domestic-related incident Sunday in Gresham on the South Side.

He was stabbed multiple times in the chest about 3:35 p.m. in the 8300 block of South Aberdeen Street, Chicago police said. The man was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition.

Charges are pending, police said.
