ATLANTA _ One person is dead and three others were injured after a shooting Thursday on a train at the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority's West Lake station, officials said at a news conference.
Relatives of the shooting victim identified him as 38-year-old Zachariah Hunnicutt, Atlanta's WSB-TV reported.
The suspect is in custody, authorities confirmed. It was not immediately known if the train was arriving or departing the station at the time of the shooting.
Two men and a woman who were shot were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and are in stable condition, according to officials. A fifth person was injured in the panic but was not hit by gunfire.
