Two men were shot Sunday, one of them fatally, in Riverdale on the Far South Side.

They were in a parking lot when they got into an argument with the male suspect about 12:35 a.m. in the 1000 block of East 132nd Street, according to Chicago police. The suspect left the parking lot and walked to a home before firing at the men through the door.

A 24-year-old man was hit in the left side of his torso and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released details about the death.

The other man, 20, was shot in the leg and taken to Christ Medical Center in fair condition, police said.

No one is in custody as Area Two detectives investigate.
