BHOPAL: A total of 1.27 lakh Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered in the state on Sunday, said health bulletin released by the directorate of health services.
With these doses being administered on Sunday a total of 4.86 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the state so far. Vaccination was carried out across the state on Sunday. Despite being a holiday, vaccination was carried out at around 2,245 government centres across the state.
Vaccination of pregnant women had also started in the state from July 23 onwards. The vaccination of expecting women will be carried out on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Among the districts where maximum doses were administered on Sunday include Ratlam where 16,333 doses were administered, followed by Gwalior district 16,150 doses, Dhar 9,906 doses and Seoni district where 9,572 doses were administered. The state government has set a target of administering at least one dose to all the 5.5 crore eligible beneficiaries of the state by the end of September this year.
