The victim, named locally as Louis Theodora, was treated in hospital for serious injuries to his head.

A reward of £1,000 has now been made available for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of Maclean, of Hove.

Maclean's details have bee added to the 'most wanted' list on the Crimestoppers website.

Crimestoppers said that Maclean is known by a number of nicknames, including Scouse Carlos, Cars, Carl and Carlos.

The full details on the website state Maclean is "wanted by Sussex Police for wounding with intent".

Police have advised anybody who sees Maclean, or has any information which could lead to his whereabouts, to not approach him but call 999 and quote Operation Toxin.
