The concerned owner of a missing parrot is offering a £1,000 reward to get his precious girl home safely.
Mylo is a grey female African Grey, with a slight indent at the tip of her beak, who went missing yesterday evening around 10pm in Ayr.
She was last seen along Ayr Main Street flying towards Tams Brig and the Prestwick/Troon direction.
Worried owner Tommy Maughan, of Ayr, said: “She got spooked and flew out my communal stairs window.
“She’s never been outside so will likely take shelter somewhere.
“If [anyone] spots Mylo she will come to any males with monkey nuts or apples.
"Or if anyone has a sighting of a bird that looks similar to a pigeon with a distinctive red tail – call the number on the poster and we will search that area of her last seen."
Mylo repeats words and phrases including Alexa, Gemma and Night Guys.
She also makes sounds like a Samsung message tone.
She is not microchipped and also has a missing claw on her right back toe.
