Viral TikTok Claims Massive Crowd of Bikers Heading to LA to 'Back ICE Agents'. The Footage Is From a Charity Toy Drive

A TikTok user posted a video claiming that a crowd of bikers at a toy drive for charity were actually MAGA supporters on their way to Los Angeles to support Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

The post, published by TikTok user @Ultra_Conservative_Gator, features a video of the massive crowd of bikers.

"On the way to California to back Ice Agents... and deport the criminals illegals. Lets go MAGA," says the accompanying caption.

The video was then reposted to X (formerly Twitter).

"Oh good, now Trump brownshirts are heading into LA to cause violence," the video was captioned on X.

However, a community note added to the video by X users demonstrates just how misleading the caption of the video truly is.

"This video was posted in 2022. It was recorded during the Tucker's Toy Run Charity Event (originally miscaptioned as "Republicans waiting for the polls to open...")," the note reads.

A description about the actual event was also published to St Luke's University Health Network Event Calendar.

"For more than a decade, this generous group of bikers has supplied toys to St. Luke's pediatric patients," says the description.

"Riders will leave Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club in Northampton at noon. The bikers, escorted by fire and police, will then make their way by St. Luke's University Hospital – Bethlehem at approximately 12:30 pm," it continues. "We encourage you to come out and show your support by cheering on these amazing folks along their route."

Social media users were quick to call out the fake caption on the video.

"This is an old video from a fundraising ride they did in 2022," said one user.

"If you believe this is a recent video maybe you should stay off social media. In what state are trees still bare and haven't bloomed by June?" said another.

"Wrong year, wrong story, wrong everything," said a third.

"Community notes for the win. You couldn't find video newer than 2022?" said a fourth.
