Donald Trump has called a PR stunt, which saw McDonald's delivered directly to the Oval Office door by the wife of a cancer patient, "tacky".
Sharon Simmons, a “Dasher" from Arkansas who works to help pay for her husband's cancer treatment, delivered a bag of the president's "favorites" to promote the administration's “no tax on tips” policy.
Trump then answered journalists' questions about the war in Iran as he stood alongside the employee on Monday (13 April).
Speaking at a tax roundtable in Las Vegas on Thursday (16 April), Trump called the stunt "a little tacky", claiming it was a "crazy idea".
