Trump's Checks Signed And Returned From Washington Quickly

Former U.S. President Donald Trump to give a deposition to New York Attorney General Letitia James

During the ongoing testimony, bookkeeper Rebecca Manochio revealed that she frequently sent batches of 10 to 20 checks at a time. These checks were reportedly sent unsigned and returned from Washington bearing the signature of former President Donald Trump, usually within a short timeframe.

Manochio stated that the checks were sent back to her at the Trump Organization. In cases where a check did not return, she would contact Madeline Westerhout at the White House for assistance. Westerhout would then search for the missing check on Manochio's behalf.

Upon the checks' return from Washington with Trump's signature, Manochio confirmed that the backup invoices remained attached to them. Subsequently, she would pass on the signed checks to Deb Tarasoff, an individual working in the accounting department of the Trump Organization, as testified on Monday.
