Trump amplifies another conspiracy theory – this time about Biden

  • US President Donald Trump has shared a baseless Truth Social post claiming that Joe Biden was killed in 2020 and replaced with a clone, unbeknownst to Democrats.
  • The post alleges that Mr Biden was replaced by “clones doubles & robotic engineered soulless mindless entities”.
  • Mr Trump’s supporters shared memes supporting the conspiracy, while critics called the president’s actions "concerning."
  • Mr Trump also reposted a video claiming CBS deleted his 2015 interview with Stephen Colbert, which is false as clips are still available on YouTube.
  • The president is no stranger to posting conspiracy theories. He has repeatedly claimed that the 2020 election was “stolen” and made unfounded claims that Haitian immigrants are eating pets.
