Trump administration reveals when UFC Claw will be dismantled

  • White House officials confirmed in court filings that a large UFC fighting arena, built for President Donald Trump 's 80th birthday event, will be “immediately” dismantled after Sunday's match.
  • Joshua Fisher, director of the White House Office of Administration, stated the "Claw" will be disassembled right after the event, with demobilization beginning the following morning.
  • This statement contradicts earlier remarks by Trump, who suggested the structure "could be a permanent fixture" on the South Lawn.
  • The administration is battling a lawsuit from the Public Integrity Project, which argues the event is "deeply corrupt" and exploits public lands for private, for-profit sports.
  • The UFC is covering the estimated $60 million cost of the event and has pledged an additional $700,000 to restore the White House lawn.
