Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris says it's 'a privilege' to learn from Jose Mourinho

Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris says he is learning "so much" under manager Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho succeeded the sacked Mauricio Pochettino in November, the latest club in a long and distinguished career including the likes of Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Chelsea.

Lloris, a World Cup winner two years ago, has long underlined his commitment to Pochettino has says he considers himself lucky to have the opporunity to work with Mourinho.

“He's great," Lloris told Eurosport. "He's a character. Through the media you can have preconceived ideas, but when you get in touch with him on a daily basis, inside a training centre, I think it's a privilege.

"He's coached so many great teams, so many great players. He's got a lot of experience and a lot of trophies in his cupboard.

"When you're a player, I think it's a chance to be at his side because there's so much to learn."

Should the Premier League season resume, Spurs, and Mourinho, must close an eight-point gap to fourth-placed Chelsea to achieve their end-of-season aims.
