Titans pay visit to local elementary school in support of Read Across America Week

The Tennessee Titans are well-known in the Nashville community not just for their performances on Sundays, but involvement in the community as well.

The Titans have been involved in a number of local events to benefit students at multiple educational levels, with the latest being a trip to Paragon Mills Elementary.

Head coach Mike Vrabel, safety Johnathan Cyprien, place kicker Ryan Succop, punter Brett Kern and linebacker Rashaan Evans all helped to kick of the school’s “Read Across America Week.”

T-rac and the Titans cheerleaders also joined in on the action.

The event is just one of many the Titans will take part in this year to support the city and surrounding areas.

The Titans also hosted their Fourth Annual Regional Spelling Bee at Nissan Stadium in February, and will send the top two spellers on an all-expense-paid trip to compete in the 2019 Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. in May.

The final rounds of the contest will air on ESPN.
