Swcomms starts energy business to help customers minimise carbon footprint

A communications company has launched a new energy company to help their customers reduce their power consumption, minimise their carbon footprint and get the best value from their energy contracts.

This will see the launch of a new business, swcomms-energy Ltd, who will be partnering with Fidelity Energy - one of the UK’s leading utility software platform providers.

By partnering with Fidelity, swcomms-energy will also have the ability to work with a range of green suppliers whose products are generated from 100% renewable sources.

Renewable options are available to all businesses that are concerned with the impact they are having on the environment.

Jon Whiley, the Commercial Director at  swcomms, said: “This is an amazing opportunity for swcomms  to move into a dynamic new sector that is undergoing fluid change, where companies are looking for energy businesses to bring an element of trust to the market place and to help them move to more sustainable forms of energy.

“As we already have a strong commercial relationship through the supply of IT/comms services to our customers, they are already aware of our commitment to service. swcomms-energy believes that this proven strong relationship will give our customers confidence in managing their energy needs.”

swcomms-energy will be able to capitalise upon the most recent additions to Fidelity’s ever-expanding portfolio of solutions. They will now be able to offer the installation of EV (electric vehicle) charging points, which can also be branded to each customer’s preference.

Fidelity Energy’s Managing Director John Haw, said: “We are delighted to have partnered with swcomms and look forward to working with them to take the energy service offerings to their customer base. We are confident that we will be able to offer a significant price savings on their business energy bills.

“We are passionate about providing the best experience possible to our customers and swcomms shares similar core values. This has resulted in us both holding long-standing relationships with many of our customers, which speaks for itself.

“We are excited for what this opportunity is going to bring as the potential is phenomenal.”

Mr Whiley added: “swcomms was so impressed with the service and extra value we received that we have switched all our energy contracts across to swcomms-energy and wish to share our experience with all our customers.”
