Subway has released its Christmas menu in stores, and it's safe to say that people aren't exactly impressed.
The sandwich shop's new festive range, which includes an Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Bread Steak Sub, mince pie cookies and gingerbread lattes has come under fire for not being 'Christmassy enough'.
Twitter has been flooded with complaints from disgruntled shoppers, who have been begging for a more 'traditional' Christmas sandwich to return.
"Please don't tell me this is replacing your usual festive sub. Looks great but it hardly compares to the Christmas cracker sub," wrote one disappointed fan.
Another said: "I work for Subway and got to say im totally gutted about this years festive sandwich! Can’t say it’s going to be popular with already having the garlic bread option. Ah well, hopefully next year is better."
"Bring out a proper Christmas sandwich FFS," somebody else tweeted,
"Can I have a Christmas sandwich please," demanded yet another disgruntled shopper.
Subway has been replying to people on Twitter, and is standing by its decision to release a garlic bread steak sub for Christmas instead of a turkey offering. You've got to respect the dedication.
