ScotRail offer allows you to take train from Glasgow to Edinburgh for just £5

Planning a trip to Edinburgh in the next few weeks?

You'd be well advised to take ScotRail up on their offer of £5 single tickets if you're travelling between Glasgow and the Scottish capital before Friday November 15.

The rail operator have rolled out the offer to those travelling at 'Super Off-Peak' times - that's any time between 11am and 3pm and after 8pm on weekdays.

The tickets are only available if you're travelling to or from Queen Street Station and Haymarket/Edinburgh Waverley, therefore if you get on or off at the likes of Croy, Polmont or Linlithgow, the offer won't apply.

And the incentive is also compatible with railcards, meaning you can get a further discount on the £5 if you have the likes of 18-25 or 26-30 railcard.

For more information on the offer, you can visit the ScotRail website, HERE.
