Popular line of squeeze toys sold at Walmart recalled after asbestos exposure

  • Over 121,000 Orb Funkee Squeeze Toys , specifically Funkee Monkees models , sold at Walmart and Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, have been recalled.
  • The recall stems from concerns that the toys' sand filling may contain fibrous tremolite asbestos.
  • If damaged, the toys could release asbestos fibers into the air, posing serious health risks such as respiratory disease and cancer upon inhalation.
  • Affected models include a large gold monkey (17451) and smaller multicolored versions (41929), identifiable by date code 3102491A, sold from February 2025 through April 2026.
  • Consumers are urged to immediately stop using the toys, contact The Orb Factory for a refund, and follow specific disposal instructions for both intact and damaged products.
