Peter Andre's wife banned kids' faces from social media to protect them from trolls

Peter Andre's wife Emily says she stops their kids' faces from being seen on social media to help prevent troll attacks.

The mum has vowed to keep protecting them after previous messages about her children's looks. Emily refuses to let their kids enter the showbiz spotlight because of what vile users have said in the past.

The NHS doctor said she made the decision as she just can't stomach cruel comments about Amelia, seven, and Theo, four.

Bitter experiences of what Pete's other children have gone through means a black-out is best all round.

The proud parent addressed the issue in her column with OK! magazine and refuses to back down.

Emily, 32, said the fact model Tamara Ecclestone's daughter Serena, one, was branded an "ugly, awful little thing" by sick trolls justifies her decision.

"This is exactly why I have been cautious about sharing my children's faces online," Emily explained. "I feel like people are really cruel.

"To make comments about a child's appearance is unnecessary and wrong. Making comments in general about people's appearances generally is uncalled for.

"It's no wonder we're seeing a rise in people with body insecurities and people making enhancements to their bodies."

But it has not always been easy - as her husband found out.

Singer Pete felt his wife's wrath in May 2019 after a lapse in concentration.

The singer claimed he was in the "dog house" after he broke his agreement not to show son Theo's face on TV.

Proud Peter showed off his youngest son in his lap on a Loose Women video call.

"I’m sooo in the dog house.. Hey accidents happen we are in lockdown.... @loosewomen @itv," he explained after the error.

Little Theo was seen climbing all over him as Peter did a from-home broadcast on the ITV show.

Peter says he feels the 'most ill' he has been in years after coming down with a mystery sickness bug.

He has missed son Junior's music launch as well as an on-stage appearance.

Junior, the 16-year-old rapper, has signed a mega record deal with Rebel Records and Columbia Records UK.

His dad posted an update on his Instagram stories over the weekend, saying: "Good luck tonight son.

"Sorry I can't be with you but show 'em what you've got."
