Brighter days, lighter evenings and – if we’re lucky – warmer weather are in sight.
To celebrate, Masons of Yorkshire is releasing a new special edition that’s perfect for summer.
Its new Pink Grapefruit and Cucumber gin is made with juicy yet crisp pink grapefruit citrus, juniper and smooth and cooling cucumbers.
What's more, the tipple doesn't contain artificial colours, flavours or syrups.
On its tasting notes, Masons of Yorkshire says: "On the nose, you’re initially hit with a citrus burst led by the pink grapefruit, balanced with the juniper, then the unmistakable cucumber freshness follows.
"On the palate, the bright pink grapefruit and lemon create a citrus burst, swiftly followed by the sweeter notes of cucumber that forms a cooling, refreshing finish."
The drink is best enjoyed with plenty of ice, premium Indian tonic water and a wedge of your favourite citrus fruit.

Summer Punch Gin Cocktail
Ingredients
150ml Masons Pink Grapefruit & Cucumber Gin
150ml Martini Rosso
400ml Elderflower Presse
15ml Rose Water
1 pink grapefruit
2 limes
Method:
- Cut a pink grapefruit and 2 limes into small chunks. Fill a large jug with ice and then squeeze the cut fruit over it and add to the jug.
- Add the gin, Martini and rose water and top with Elderflower Presse.
- Garnish with a sprig of basil.
- Top tip: For added flavour leave the fruit herbs and spirits to steep overnight then add the ice and soda when ready to serve. Enjoy poured into ice-filled wine glasses with some freshly peeled cucumber ribbons and enjoy with friends.
