Melania Trump has introduced the new film about her second spell as US first lady at a premiere in Washington.
Most of President Donald Trump’s children, including Melania’s son Barron, skipped the event and the mainstream press was barred from entry.
The premiere was held at the Kennedy Center in DC, now known as the Trump-Kennedy Center, and featured a number of celebrities in attendance including rapper Nicki Minaj and TV personality Dr Phil.
Speaking at the event, Melania said: "I want to show the audience my life, what it takes to be a first lady again and (the) transition from private citizen back to the White House.”
"It's beautiful, it's emotional, it's fashionable, it's cinematic and I'm very proud of it."
The film, which follows Melania’s return to the White House following Trump’s re-election in November 2024, was directed by the controversial Brett Ratner.
Mr Ratner has not worked in Hollywood since a string of sexual misconduct allegations emerged in 2017.
Amazon MGM paid a reported $40 million to obtain the rights for the documentary.
However, the film is not expected to produce a modest return at the box office, with estimates that it could take between $1 million and $5 million in its opening weekend.

Introducing the movie to the audience in Washington, Melania thanked her husband and called him “the director of America”.
Speaking on the red carpet at the event, Trump said the First Lady was “very influential”.
He said: “She’s really been a great help.
“She’s done a great job, very measured. Sometimes when I’m not so measured, she measures you. But now she’s done a great job and [is] very, very influential in terms of the administration.”
