Marketing-tech firm Zenapse has recently secured $8 million in a seed round of funding to enhance marketers' capabilities with tools that drive sales. Zenapse offers a unique marketing graph that aggregates anonymous data from approximately 150 million consumers, amounting to a staggering 3.5 billion data points. This data amalgamates online activities, such as post-product addition website visits, without including personally identifiable information like email addresses.

Notable companies like Sam's Club, Prosper, and Aeropostale leverage Zenapse's graph to discern the most effective content and advertisements that prompt consumer purchases. The primary objective is to assist marketers in predicting consumer interests to drive conversions. For instance, a client with a 99% cart abandonment rate may utilize Zenapse to decide between offering free shipping or a 20% discount to entice customers to complete their purchase.

Marketers also utilize Zenapse's tools to analyze consumer responses to various images and copy, providing insights into emotions and beliefs. For example, younger consumers may prefer beach imagery, while older demographics may resonate more with mountain visuals.

Zenapse faces competition from industry giants like Adobe and Optimizely. However, Zenapse aims to differentiate itself by leveraging AI to deduce emotional data swiftly and deliver actionable insights to brands. The recent funding round was spearheaded by VC firm Naples Technology Ventures, with additional contributions from Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Broad Street Angels, and BaseCamp Ventures.

Zenapse intends to utilize the raised capital to develop products tailored for midsize brands, such as Shopify merchants, and expand its offerings to devices like connected TVs and in-car screens.

Overall, Zenapse's innovative approach to leveraging data and AI to enhance marketing strategies positions it as a promising player in the marketing technology landscape.
