During the jury selection process for an upcoming trial, another potential juror has been excused due to concerns related to her job in cybersecurity. The juror expressed worries about how her job responsibilities could impact her ability to fully focus on the case, stating, 'I feel a sense of duty with my job and worry about how thinking about that would affect how present I was for the case.'

Prior to being dismissed, the juror disclosed that she had previously subscribed to anti-Trump newsletters and followed anti-Trump groups on social media. This information was shared with the court before the decision was made to excuse her from the jury pool.

In response to these developments, Judge Juan Merchan advised the remaining jurors to voice any concerns they may have before proceeding with the questionnaire. This proactive approach aims to streamline the selection process and ensure that potential jurors are able to participate effectively in the trial.
