The White House has drawn attention online after users noticed that political commentator Hasan Piker’s name was spelled incorrectly on an official government webpage. The page argues that media personalities and commentators have used harsh language about President Donald Trump over the years. It claims that such rhetoric helped create a hostile political environment and pointed to recent security incidents involving the president. However, many social media users focused on a different detail after noticing that Hasan Piker’s first name was written as “Hassan” instead of “Hasan.” The mistake quickly became a talking point online.
