Motherwell have completed the signing of former Leicester City defender Darragh O'Connor.
The 21-year-old has signed a one-year deal after impressing on trial at the Fir Park side, pending international clearance.
O'Connor will add depth to Graham Alexander's squad and he will provide competition at centre-back for Bevis Mugabi and Ricki Lamie.
Leicester City signed O'Connor after he made 20 appearances for his hometown club Wexford as a teenager in the League of Ireland First Division.
Boss Graham Alexander told the club's website: "Darragh is a young centre-half who has been with us for the last couple of weeks.

"We really like what we’ve seen with his attitude and commitment to the game.
"He’s a young player with a lot of potential, but we also think he’s got the capability to break into our first team and compete with our more senior players.
"We’re delighted to have him on board."
O'Connor will go into the Steelmen's squad for their first competitive game of the season against Queen's Park in the Premier Sports Cup on Wednesday night.
