We're set for sunshine and showers in Edinburgh this weekend.
The Met Office are predicting a bright start to Saturday with clear skies and plenty of sun. Temperatures should be around six or seven degrees for much of the morning.
Some cloud is expected to move in early afternoon but it should still be bright for the majority of the afternoon – peaking at around nine degrees. It's forecast to be quite breezy throughout the day – but no wet weather, which is a bonus.
Saturday evening is also set to be cloudy, but there should be enough breaks to catch the stunning sight of the Northern Lights if you're lucky.
On Sunday it's likely to be a cloudy but dry morning before rain showers begin at around midday – and continue until later in the afternoon.
There might be some sun throughout the day, but don't count on it. Temperatures are forecast to be a bit cooler on Sunday too.
