Eagles’ Owner Jeffrey Lurie gave the Commencement speech at Clark University graduation

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Jeffrey Lurie returned to his Alma Mater on Sunday to talk society, technology and leadership. Lurie gave the commencement address at Clark University on Sunday and the Eagles owner urged graduates to remember what makes them human when they leave campus.

Lurie, who graduated from the university in 1973, did his best to remind undergraduate and graduate degree recipients of the importance of unconditional love, resilience, empathy, and gratitude, and a “radical kind of open-mindedness.”

Lurie spoke to 1,081 graduates in total on the campus green next to the Jefferson Academic Center on Sunday afternoon and the Eagles owner also received an honorary degree from his alma mater to go with the bachelor’s degree he originally earned from Clark.
