Confusion reigns over final score in camogie match between Tipperary and Limerick

Confusion reigned at the LIT Gaelic Grounds on Sunday over the result of the Division 1 Group 2 clash between Tipperary and Limerick.

Reporters and supporters present believed that Tipp had beaten Limerick by a single point on a scoreline of 0-10 to 1-06.

But the referee had it that the match ended in a 1-07 to 0-10 draw between the counties.

And the Camogie Association have said that the match is now under review.

"The result of the Limerick v Tipperary fixture in the Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Leagues Division 1 Group 2 is currently being reviewed and an update will be provided in due course," a statement read.

Ciardha Maher struck what appeared to be the winning score for the Premier County before the confusing aftermath.
