Where's the most expensive Christmas Day dinner in Glasgow?

We're decking the halls, gobbling up the last of our advent chocolates and counting down the minutes until we can put our Out of Office on.

But not all of us are racing to reserve our turkey and pre-heat our ovens.  Whether you're not in the Christmas mood or simple don't want the hassle, lots of folk are happy to fork out the big bucks and let some one else do the cooking.

Glasgow's food scene is one of the best in the country, with various restaurants offering up a true festive feast on December 25.

But which one is the most spenny? We've taken a look and we reckon that the Blythswood Square hotel is the priciest spot serving up sprouts on Christmas day.

The residence of choice for A-listers visiting the city, the Blythswood boasts five star rooms and a spa - as well as its very own restaurant Bo and Birdy.

The swanky hotel guarantees you can 'host a roast without the washing up' by serving up stacks of honey-glazed bacon, sage stuffing, duck fat roasties and slow roasted turkey all day long -  for an eye watering £145 per person.

And the kids don't miss out, you can bring them along for the cut price of £49.50 - so long as they are under 12, otherwise they are paying the full adult price.

The hotel are also offering a lunch menu from 1pm at Bo and Birdy for a slightly cheaper price of £125 per head.

The three course lunch menu features a potato and black truffle gnocchi, a chestnut mushroom & walnut bake and traditional Christmas pudding, brandy custard and mulled cranberries for desert.

It sounds absolutely mouthwatering - but we're not sure we have the extra cash to splash this Christmas. We can dream though right?

What do you think Glasgow? Worth shelling out for? Or does mum always know best, burnt Turkey and all?
