A man is accused of driving a loader into another man before using the machine to break through a roller door and driving through a home in the NSW Hilltops region.
The incident happened at Iandra Street in Young after an ugly dispute allegedly sparked by an argument.
Emergency services were called to a home about lunchtime on Thursday with reports a man had been injured with a loader.
The two men, 38 and 59, had been arguing, before the older man got into the loader and drove towards the younger man, hitting him in the arm, NSW Police were told.
The 59-year-old then drove the loader through a closed roller door, ramming a number of walls and equipment, before driving through the property's front gates, police allege.
The 39-year-old was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to Young Hospital in a stable condition.
Police arrested the 59-year-old at Young Police Station on Friday morning, where he was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm (domestic violence), destruction or damage to property, and the use of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
He was granted conditional bail and will appear in Young Local Court on October 12.
