Concerns grow 'significantly' for missing Edinburgh pensioner as police launch appeal

Police in Edinburgh have launched an urgent appeal as concerns grow for the welfare of a missing women.

Nancy Bremner, 76, was last seen in Corstorphine on Sunday afternoon and police are urging anyone who has any information or has seen her to come forward.

The pensioner was last seen at 3pm in the Torrance Park area of the city and there is significant concern for her welfare.

Described as being white, 5ft 1 and slim build, with shoulder-length greying hair, she was last seen wearing a pink puffy coat, black jeans and black boots.

She is known to frequent the Corstorphine area of Edinburgh, including shops at Drumbrae, Glasgow Road and Corstorphine Road.

Inspector Kris Harvey said: “As time passes, our concern for Nancy continues to grow and we are asking for anyone who may have seen her, or has any information on her whereabouts to please come forward as soon as possible.

“You can contact police on 101, quoting incident 2160 of 12 March, 2023.”
