An industrial estate in Merseyside was closed by emergency services this morning after an explosion.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, Merseyside Police and Cadent gas company were called to the scene after reports of an explosion in one of the units at around 5am.
A structural engineer and Wirral Council were also in attendance at the scene, on Appin Road, on Wednesday, September 15.

Crews from two fire engines arrived and found damage inside a unit approximately 50m by 10m in size.
A Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Once inside crews found some damage inside the premises but no signs of fire.
"Utilities to the premises have been isolated."
Police confirmed that no injuries were reported following the explosion and enquires are ongoing to establish what happened.
They said: "Cadent are in attendance at the scene and have turned the gas supply off to make the area safe."
A Cadent spokesperson said it is too early to know what the cause of the explosion was.
They are assisting emergency services with the investigation, a spokesman said: "We were called to a report of an explosion this morning at 05:53 by the fire service.
"We are carrying out our usual safety checks in the area and assisting the fire service with their investigation. It is too early to know the cause of the explosion.
"We have checked our records and there have been no reports of a smell of gas to the national gas emergency service in this area of Tranmere recently."
