Who is Bryan Fiabema? Chelsea's first post-transfer ban signing under Frank Lampard

Chelsea have made their first signing after their transfer ban was cut in half, but it might not be the one that a lot of Blues fans were hoping for.

The Blues have brought in Bryan Fiabema from Tromso on a three and a half year deal.

But who is the youngster and how will he fit into the club to begin?

Fiabema grew up in the Krokelvdalen area of Norway, playing for a local club until he was 12 years old.

The youngster then made the switch to Tromso and has been with the Norwegian side's academy ever since.

This season as well, the youngster has made a senior appearance, even at the age of 16.

He was given a trial by the Blues, which was successful and the quick and tricky forward is set to be part of the youth side.

"First and foremost I will play for the Chelsea U18 team," Fiabema told the Tromso website. "In addition, I'm going to train a part with the U23 team.

"I will however bring my experiences from TIL through having good routines in everyday life and exercising well. Must focus on what I can do about it and then I think I can do most things."

Chelsea's U18s are back in FA Youth Cup action on Wednesday night when they take on Bradford City at the EBB Stadium in Aldershot in the fourth round.
