Help teachers get their voices heard
The Guardian’s teacher series will put a spotlight on the wave of teacher activism sweeping the country and the crisis in America’s classrooms.
If you’re a K-12 public school teacher or educator, we want your input.
- What’s the biggest challenge you face as a public school teacher in America? Are your school facilities and textbooks adequate? Have you had to buy your own classroom supplies? Do you struggle financially on your salary? Do your students ever come to school hungry?
- Send us photos and videos of problems with your classrooms and schools: old textbooks, peeling paint, overcrowded classrooms, outdated technology, snacks for students that you had to buy yourself, etc.
- Have you taken part in any activism? What were your reasons for getting involved?
