West Ham United have sacked Manuel Pellegrini after 19 months in charge of the Hammers.
Pellegrini joined the club in May last year on a three-year contract but halfway through his second season in charge, the Argentine has parted ways with the Londoners.
West Ham have struggled this season and are just one point clear of the relegation zone sat in 17th in the Premier League table.
The final straw for the club was the 2-1 defeat at home to Leicester City on Saturday night, with the Hammers facing a Leicester side which had made several changes due to the festive fixture congestion.
Pellegrini, who won the Premier League title at Manchester City, leaves West Ham with his reputation negatively impacted.
