The Tennessee Titans had a lot to play for in Week 17. Derrick Henry is making sure the Titans will keep playing after the regular seasons ends Sunday.
The Heisman winner from Alabama came into Sunday trailing Nick Chubb of Cleveland and Christian McCaffrey of Carolina in the race for the rushing crown.
He was 124 yards behind Chubb coming in and the Browns’ RB added 41 yards in an early start, which Cleveland lost to Cincinnati.
Henry needed 166 yards to win the title and Tennessee needed to beat Houston to lock up a Wild-Card spot in the AFC.
Henry delivered for the Titans. He had 32 carries for 211 yards and a trio of TDs in the romp over Houston. Henry iced the rushing title — and 35-14 victory — with this brilliant TD run.
The Heisman winner out of Alabama has better than 3,800 yards rushing in his four years with Tennessee.
