Nuno Espirito Santo has chosen his second Tottenham Hotspur starting XI as he takes his team to Colchester United for a pre-season friendly on Wednesday night.
The Portuguese faced his first friendly on Saturday, with the 1-1 draw at Leyton Orient as he looks to get his Tottenham squad fitter with each passing day.
Pre-seasons are proving to be rather different affairs to how they used to be for Premier League clubs right now, with not only fitness and injuries to contend with, but also the prospect of players having to isolate at any time should any members of their household test positive as cases rise during the pandemic.
Espirito Santo has stuck with the bulk of the starting XI who took on Orient at the weekend with a handful of returning faces in the squad at the JobServe Community Stadium.
There is no Joe Hart in the squad and Alfie Whiteman starts between the sticks.
In defender are Cameron Carter-Vickers and Eric Dier, with Maksim Paskotsi and Tobi Omole as full-backs.
In the midfield, Oliver Skipp returns alongside Harry Winks, with Dele Alli, Steven Bergwijn, Lucas Moura and Son Heung-min in the attacking slots, with either Son or Lucas taking the lead role up front, with teenager Dane Scarlett on the bench.
