The Chase viewers were left shocked last night after a contestant's 'saucy' interaction with host Bradley Walsh.
During yesterday's instalment of the popular ITV quiz show, elderly contestant Carol prepared to face Paul 'the Sinnerman' Sinha after scoring £5,000 in the cash builder round.
However, it was an interaction Carol had with Bradley before that cash builder round that left fans feeling "awkward", the Liverpool Echo reports.
After talking about what she did in her spare time, Carol told Bradley: "The ladies at my bowling club have told my to tell you that they think you're gorgeous and they lust after your body."
"Oh", Bradley sheepishly replied.
Carol then told Bradley "not to worry about it" though as they are "all over the age of 65".
The Chase viewers took to social media and dubbed the whole exchange rather "awkward".
Gem commented: "The Chase just got cringey! [laughing emoji]".
Heather said: "Bradley [blushing emoji]" and added a GIF telling him to "run".
Ian added: "She's trying to be funny and failing miserably."
Liam simply said: "Awkward".
And Ben said: "Bradley's got a fan".
Another viewer commented: "Imagine an old male contestant talking like that to a younger female host.... just imagine it".
Carol made it back to the final round with two other contestants, but the team of three were caught by Paul 'the Sinnerman' Sinha with 34 seconds remaining, meaning they lost their £18,000 jackpot.
At the end of the show when congratulating the team for their efforts, Bradley told Carol to give his love to "the girls at the bowling club".
The Chase airs weekdays on ITV at 5pm.
