1. Jeremy Hunt delays 1p tax cut as Bank of England backs Chancellor

Jeremy Hunt was preparing to delay Liz Truss’s 1p cut to income tax on Saturday night, as the Governor of the Bank of England praised the new Chancellor’s decision to tear up the Prime Minister’s economic plans.

4. Prince Harry ‘tried to circumvent Royal household over security concerns’, court told

The Duke of Sussex tried to circumvent the Royal household by lobbying a senior government adviser over his security concerns, according to court documents.

5. Ghislaine Maxwell's tribute to ‘dear friend’ Prince Andrew in bombshell prison interview

Ghislaine Maxwell has spoken from a US prison of her “dear friend” Prince Andrew, and told of how she “feels bad” for how he has been treated.
