Police have arrested a teenager in connection with an offensive social media post made during the Old Firm clash.
A 17-year-old boy has now been charged after the vile post was reported to officers during the Celtic v Rangers SPFL match on Sunday.
Police Scotland earlier confirmed they had received several complaints about the vile content and were investigating.
In an update on Monday night, the force confirmed that an arrest has now been made.
In a statement, they said: “We've arrested and charged a 17-year-old male youth in connection with an offensive social media post during the Celtic v Rangers SPFL match yesterday.
“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
