Ryan Strome has broken wrist, likely out for season, source says

Islanders forward Ryan Strome suffered a broken right wrist in Wednesday night's win over the Rangers and is likely done for the season, barring a deep playoff run, according to a team source.

Strome left the game in the second period after getting his arm caught at an awkward angle as Rangers defenseman Brady Skjei moved in to hit him. He quickly dropped his stick and a glove, made his way to the bench, then the dressing room.

Strome had 13 goals and 17 assists in 69 games this season.
