Police have confirmed that they've found a body in the search for missing Chorley woman Christine Clarke.
On Sunday, Lancashire Police said they were "growing increasingly concerned" for her welfare.
Christine, who was 51, had been last seen alive at 05:30am on Saturday on the A6 near to Frederick's ice cream.
Lancashire Police said a body had been recovered from the Leeds Liverpool Canal close to Frederick's.
"While formal identification has yet to be carried out, it is believed to be Christine," the force said in a statement.
"Her family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this incredibly difficult time.
"We would like to thank everyone who responded to our appeal to find Christine.
"Her death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed to HM Coroner in due course."
