Police are probing if Neil Lennon broke Covid-19 restrictions after footage emerged which is believed to show the former Celtic manager at an English hotel.
A video clip has been circulated on social media apparently showing Lennon at a Carlisle hotel on Tuesday night, reports The Daily Record.
The alleged trip came just a day after pubs reopened in England.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “The matter is being investigated to ascertain whether any breach of Coronavirus regulations has taken place.
“It would be inappropriate to comment further whilst this investigation takes place.”
Scottish pubs and restaurants will not be reopening until the end of the month.
Current legislation bans travelling between countries in the UK in a bid to stop the spread of the deadly virus although travel for essential and work purposes is permitted.
Rules around social distancing are also still in place.
In Scotland, people are only allowed to leave council areas currently for essential travel.
Earlier this year Celtic was forced to apologise after Lennon and players were snapped sipping cocktails by a pool and not observing social distancing on a training trip to Dubai.
After returning from the Middle East a positive Covid test for Christopher Jullien forced a further 13 players and management to self-isolate.
