Police plea for witnesses after quad bikes cause damage to fields

Quad bikers have caused havoc on fields in Nottinghamshire - and police have launched an investigation.

Officers from Mansfield Police Station are appealing for witnesses to come forward after fields at a farm on the A617 near Rainworth were left damaged.

The incident happened on Saturday, April 11.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police.

Police posted the pictures on Twitter, along with a statement which said: "On April 11 late at night on a farm on the A617 Rainworth. Damage to the crops within a local farm caused by quad bikes.

"If anyone has seen or heard anything please contact PC 2765 Meaney via 101 Incident number 924-11-04-2020. Or crime stoppers on 0800 555 111."
