Police hunt for teens who stole and crashed hearse

Police are hunting for teenagers who stole a hearse and crashed it in Nottinghamshire.

The vehicle was stolen from Carlton funeral directors at 5am on October 27 and was later involved in a crash with a car and a lamppost.

Nottinghamshire police said that the hearse crashed into a car before the youths assaulted the driver of the car.

The driver was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre for treatment for facial injuries. His mobile phone was also damaged in the incident.

Police are searching for three teenage boys and a teenage girl.

They are described as white and wearing dark clothing.

Anyone with information that could help officers with their investigation have been urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101.
